Gemstone & Fossil Panning

Mine for gems or fossils at Smallin Cave's visitor center. Students are guaranteed to find treasure and may take home what they find!

Nature Trail

Schedule a 30 - minute guided nature walk through the beautiful forest above the cave! Your students will learn about the specific trees and plants that grow there, and how the Osage tribe utilized the natural resources for their own use. Students love the shady, fragrant cedar glade, and they often spot forest creatures along the way!

Classroom

Set aside time for a 30-minute hands-on classroom before a tour of Smallin Cave. Students will get a general overview of the science of caves before their adventure!

For groups of 20 or more $2 per student

Crawl Fort

Crawl through 55 feet of passageways that simulates a "spelunking" experience. Just be sure to watch your head!
